Director
Originally from Shiogama, Miyagi, Japan. After graduating from Tama Art University with a degree in Graphic Design, he began his career in 2008 at the Tokyo-based production company ROBOT, where he worked as a planner and director on numerous commercials and visual projects.
In 2014, he became a freelance director. Letting go of 95% of his belongings, he embraced a nomadic lifestyle—traveling the world while continuing to work. Those experiences and encounters added depth and new perspectives to his creative approach.
After returning to Japan in 2017, he resumed his creative work in earnest. With a focus on live-action, he captures the subtle textures, light, and atmosphere of real environments, remaining deeply committed to the visual power and emotional resonance of reality-based filmmaking.
In 2025, he founded the creative studio ORB Inc. The studio fosters experimental, forward-thinking expression across genres and borders—providing a space where bold ideas can grow. He continues to develop a wide range of projects with both domestic and international brands and artists.
His work, grounded in live-action, blends art direction, VFX, and the latest technology to create striking visual worlds that leave a lasting impression on viewers.
